Ms. Moore with Marshall students at Jamestown, VA Marshall takes 1st place...everywhere! ![]() Congratulations to the girls soccer team on winning CIF; they begin playing for the state championship tomorrow in San Diego. Congratulations to colorguard and drumline who both took first place in their respective competitions this week. Congratulations to Yaneli Soriano who won the district speech contest on 21st Century Leadership. And congratulations to Maya Rosental Saporito, Khachik Ashkaryan, and Atticus Moats who won first place in the Los Angeles County History Day competition; they will now take their presentation to Sacramento in April to compete at the State level. We're proud of our Marshall students, and all we can add is: Go Eagles!
Marshall Tours Tours for the remainder of the school year are as follows: February 28th 2pm (English) March 21st 9:30am (English/Spanish) April 9th 2pm (English) May 16th 9:30am (English/Spanish) Prospective students are encouraged to attend the tour with their parents. If you have any questions, please call (626)396-5810 x64199. Double your donation dollars! Thanks to an anonymous donor the Pasadena Education Foundation (PEF) will match $25,000 worth of donations to our school. All you need to do is fill out their form and direct your donation to either Arts, Athletics, or Academics at Marshall. Don't delay! The match is "first come first served;" once the $25,000 is matched then the matching ends. (Of course PEF will still accept donations after the program is over.) Marshall students recognized nationally for their excellence Jose Lopez has been named a National Hispanic Scholar, and Eleanor Mudica has been named a National Merit Semi-Finalist. Based on the PSAT Eleanor is in the top 1% of all high school students and the only PUSD student to receive this honor. Congratulations to you both and Go Eagles! Marshall Grabs Silver Again!
